A Note from the Webmaster
In the last four hundred years the Bryson family has migrated from Northern Ireland and western Scotland to all four corners of the globe. I believe that all Brysons originating from this area have a common ancestry. I believe we are all cousins.
This is Clan Bryson's website. The purpose of the site is bringing Brysons together. Consider this your family site.
While I am the site webmaster, I will try to post any information relating to our family that is suggested by my cousins. I will not act as a gatekeeper of information. Some of the links and information provided by this site reflect an interpretation of our history that I don't particular hold. I will try to be fair in presenting all alternative explanations.
There are, however, several house rules that I do impose. I will aggressively prohibit information or links that fall in the following classifications:
- Obscene language
- Copyright infringement
- Invasion of privacy
- Promote faith in someone or something other than my Lord, Jesus Christ.
While I am very proud of our Celtic heritage, I will not post links that
promote their ancient religion of Druidism. It concerns me that there are many
Celtic sites that seek to go back to that dead religion. It was Jesus that
came to this earth to save me from my sins. He is the way, the truth, and the
life. He is the one mediator between God and man. He is the one that saved me.
Cousin, while I am on the subject, let me highly recommend Him to you. Want to
know more? Just contact me.
- Finally, nothing that promotes violence in Northern Ireland. While I am
also proud of our Ulster Scot heritage, I will not post inflammatory opinions
or links to any site that seeks to inflame. Any mention of the Troubles
on this site is to merely place our family within its historical context.
Ulster has lost too many sons and daughters. Let's just pray for peace in
Northern Ireland!
